Special Issue on Embedded Systems Week

This is a special issue of ACM TECS on the various aspects of embedded systems design and development discussed during the Embedded Systems Week in October 2006 in Seoul, Korea. As embedded systems become increasingly complex, it is essential to consider the effects and interactions of multiple aspects in designing embedded systems. The 2nd Embedded Systems Week 2006 in Seoul combined three flagship conferences, CODES+ISSS, CASES, and EMSOFT into one venue offering the best technical content in the areas of embedded systems design, tools, software, architecture and compiler. The focus of this special issue will be papers presented at Embedded Systems Week conferences and workshops. Authors with new breakthroughs in related areas are also encouraged to submit their papers even if the results were not presented at the Embedded Systems Week.

Topics of interests include those generally accepted by the 3 conferences name above (but are not limited to), and summarized below:

Submission Deadline: 31 January 2007 (Note that the deadlines are updated and they are final.)
The review process will be expedited in order to reducethe time to publication.

Please submit papers to Manuscript Central and indicate that you are submitting to the Special Issue on Embedded Systems Week by using the Notes field on Manuscript Central and by writing on the cover page of your submission. Existing submissions will be honored so that there is no need of re-submission.
