CAPLAB
Codesign and Parallel Processing Laboratory is dedicated to the fast, correct, and efficient design of embedded systems, covering a full spectrum of implementations from MPSoC (multi-processor on chip) to distributed embedded systems. We are also interested in future embedded systems in the IoT era. To cope with ever-increasing system complexity and stringent design constaints in terms of performance and power, we are developing a systematic design methodology based on formal models of computation (dataflow and FSM model) and related design techniques. It enables HW/SW codesign and platform-independent software design. Our research interests include all steps of design flow such as parallel programming, worst-case performance analysis for real-time systems, static performance estimation, HW/SW cosimulation, task partitioning and mapping, resource management techniques, and automatic code generation.
